Pick-up was going fine at daycare, until we all walked outside to find another parent standing beside her little darling, who was busy drawing a picture on the door of our Taco with her finger..

My kids were like;

While I stood there staring at this monster and her child...

Had to take the high road and smile , ge t the kids in, and dri ve off home.

I didn’t mention out loud to my kids that they keep their hands to themselves. - Or that they be careful with their doors because other people care about their cars too. - Or that even if you really like drawing and are good at it you shouldn’t unless it’s on their own crappy dirty Mitsubishi Outlander..

F unny thing was I washed it Sunday, so it had a thin layer of dust since then, and theirs was covered with dirt/mud ..

My neighbor’ s kids were playing hockey recently. Like a responsible neighbor , I was sitting in my office with my security camera up on one monitor and youtube or work on the other.

I look, and the kid is fishing around under my ST with a hockey stick. I ran outside to ensure that ended pretty quickly.

This is my karma debt if I’m being honest;

One fine summer afternoon in 1981 I was watching raft races with my family and my older brother and I were throwing rocks into the water. I went to throw a golfball sized rock and my three year old grasp on physics meant it flew up and back before landing mid hood on the Bronco behind me..

My dad ended up giving the guy one of his beers and all was good.

Meh, karma got me good. When I was young, I used to pee on, kick, climb on and do whatever else to a POS pickup truck in the ally at my grandparents house.

I mean at least it was just fingers. It will scratch the paint if there's dirt but at least it wasn't toys/keys/electronics etc

When I still had the Taco, my wife had a neighbor over from our old ‘hood and brought her brood with her. It was probably about 2 years ago, so my son was 7, the friend about 8. My son came in because the kid was throwing rocks at my truck. When I went out and said something, “well I wasn’t throwing them hard...see?” and he throws another one. I about lost my shit. No dents, but I had three big chips on the door.
